With its animated gestures and dramatic videos of celebrity gossip, his show is now America's top-rated newscast. Made In America was nominated for an Emmy. He was the predecessor to Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before becoming the anchor. ABC News has broadcast many specials during primetime, with the most recent being Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's been all over the world reporting on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. His accolades include several Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as honors by The Associated Press.
